Katie
A December Sagittarius born at 11:11pm, Katie was obviously destined for greatness from the start. A self-proclaimed class clown who was a stickler for following the rules, Katie earned her black belt in tae kwon do in 5th grade, and promptly moved on to the "next thing." In 8th grade, in a social studies reenactment of the Lizzie Borden Trial Katie played the role of Lead Prosecutor and secured a conviction, setting her down the attorney career path. Katie now lives with her two cats and is frequently joined by her enthusiastic, loving, devoted (and handsome) boyfriend where they always say they're going to cook dinner themselves but inevitably order in from their favorite Mexican restaurant while watching the latest Gordon Ramsay reality cooking competition instead. Being fulfilled professionally and emotionally, Katie got an idea to start a podcast. Although things have been real weird from the start, this chaotic gravy train keeps rolling and thankfully Garet responded to Katie’s text asking, sort of on a whim, if she wanted to do a podcast together.
The Ladies
Garet
Garet was frequently described by teachers as “marching to the beat of her own drum.” And also possibly, “a distraction.” The time has come to use these superpowers for good, instead of evil. In the years since being a disruptive child, Garet has filled her time with the outdoors, gardening, weight lifting, cooking, eating, and traveling. She lives in an old house with her husband and dogs. Typically Garet can be found on a walk, feeding the crows, or asking to hang up Halloween decorations in July. Reluctantly she’s also filled her time with work, where she and Katie met. After a period of rapid personal growth and reflection, Garet is ready for a new challenge: podcasting. Notoriously private, Garet is working on being more open. Please be patient with her!
